You may request an appointment for a second opinion by calling the center directly at 512-608-9595.
Most thyroid tumors present as a very straight forward clinical problem, and their management is equally straight forward. Still, there are times when a second opinion can be quite useful. If there is any doubt, either on the part of the patient or on his or her physician, an additional opinion may prevent unnecessary surgery, or it may tailor the necessary surgery to the particular needs of the patient.
You may request an appointment for a second opinion by calling the center directly at 512-608-9595.
As time permits, Dr. Rosendahl will be happy to speak with you on the phone, but a "telephone consultation" is not the same as a true second opinion since you are not actually being examined by the doctor. It is important that you understand this quite clearly. Dr. Rosendahl and you can, however, discuss your situation in general terms and possibly shed some light on your problem. If you have any testing done, be sure to have those test results with you when you call. Again, please remember, a telephone call is not a formal consultation or second opinion.
